Funeral services for George Riley Turner, of Bay St. Louis, will today, Nov. 24, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Riverwood Family with burial at Bethshan Cemetery in Lawrence County.

Visitation will be today, Nov. 24, 2018, from 9 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.

Mr. Turner, 62, died Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2018. He was born Nov. 15, 1956, to Riley and Mildred Turner. He worked in the medical field as a registered nurse. He served as chief nursing officer at Doctor’s Hospital in New Orleans and house supervisor at Hancock Medical Center. Mr. Turner was a Master Mason and a Harley Davidson enthusiast.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Mary Lou Dyess; and one grandson, Colby Emerson.

Survivors are his son, Joshua Emerson; daughters, Christa Caldwell (Mike), Jennie Hensarling (Jay); brothers, A.C. Turner (Sandra), Steve Turner; sisters, Jo Stapleton (Ray), Ann White (Ollie), Melba Carson (Keith); six grandchildren, Joshua Emerson Jr., Andrew Hensarling, Zachary Hensarling, Amelia Kate Hensarling, Mitchell Caldwell and Caroline Caldwell; and a host of other loving family members and friends.
