Funeral services for Sallie Emily Hudson Sanders, are today, Nov. 27, 2018, at 2 p.m. at Beauregard United Methodist Church with burial at Beauregard Cemetery. Bro. Carl Smith and Bro. Mike Assink will officiate the services. Stringer Family Funeral Services in Hazlehurst is handling arrangements.

Visitation will be today, Nov. 27, 2018, from 11 a.m. until time of service at the church.

Mrs. Sanders, 89, died Saturday, Nov. 24, 2018, at her residence in Wesson. She was born Dec. 26, 1928.  She wanted people to know that she was a hard-working country girl who loved working outside in her yard, where something was always blooming. She dearly loved her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchild. She attended Beauregard UMC since she was a young girl.

Survivors are her daughters, Linda S. Templeton (Randy), of Mishawaka, Indiana; Judy Theiler (John), of Redwood; and Shirley Ross, of Terry; grandchildren, Anthony (Andy) Templeton, of Vicksburg; Leigh Ann Field, of Utica; Amanda Blakely, of Terry, Jamie Frost, of Wesson; Robert Lee Cross, III (Trey), of Twenty-Nine Palms, California; Emily Cross, of Tylertown; nine great- grandchildren, Ryan Field, Chloe Blakely, Conner Blakely, Cameron Frost, Kelly Grace Frost, Kayla Hedrick, Kimberly Cross, Thomas Cross, and Jacob Burnthorn; and great-great-grandchild, Landon Hedrick.
