Funeral services for Maxine Walker, of Brookhaven, are Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Riverwood Family in Brookhaven with burial at Springhill Pentecostal Church in Wesson.

Visitation will be Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2018 from 10 a.m. until time of the service at Riverwood Family.

Mrs. Walker, 80, died Monday, Dec. 10, 2018, at Country Brook Living Center in Brookhaven. She was born Sept. 15, 1938, to Charley and Gladys Walker. Before her retirement, she worked at the Potter Company. She enjoyed cooking, sewing and taking care of her family. She was a member of First United Pentecostal Church in Wesson. She will be missed by all who loved her.

She is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Pauline Jackson, Christine Smith, Virgie Wood and Lorea Rollins; brother, Francis Walker; sons, John Tarver and James Tarver; and grandson, Josh Tarver.

Survivors are her sons, Mark Tarver and Kenneth Tarver

and wife Tammy; daughters, Brenda Price, Claudette White and husband, Wayne, Kathy Roberts and husband, Danny; daughter-in-law, Lisa Tarver; brother, Charles A. Walker; sisters, Tressie Snow and Genice Willams; 22 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
