Funeral services for Latwuna Lashelle Smith, of Brookhaven, are Saturday, Feb. 2, 2019, at 11 a.m. at Cornerstone Church of God in Christ in Brookhaven with burial at Carver Heights Cemetery. Williams Mortuary in Brookhaven is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be Friday, Feb. 1, 2019, from 1 until 5:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Ms. Smith, 46, died Monday, Jan. 28, 2019, at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Brookhaven. She was born Dec. 19, 1972, in Wesson, to Debbe Gipson and Agnes Smith Hunter. She was a graduate of Brookhaven High School class of 1991. She received her nursing degree from Mississippi University for Women.
