James Earl Crane Sr.

Services for Mr. James Earl Crane Sr. will be held on Friday, March 15, 2019, at 2 p.m. at Antioch Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be on Thursday, March 14, 2019, from 5 until 8 p.m. at Riverwood Family and will resume prior to the service at the church starting at 1 p.m. on Friday.

James Earl Crane Sr., 79, of Brookhaven, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on March 12, 2019. He was born on Nov. 18, 1939, to Plez Crane and Pauline McGuffie Crane. Mr. Crane served in the United States National Guard and was a retired maintenance supervisor for the Brookhaven Housing Authority. He also was also a member of Antioch Baptist Church where he served as a deacon.

Preceding him in death was his parents; and granddaughter, Misty Bounds.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 59 years, Anna Lee Douglas Crane; son, Jamie Crane and wife, Felicia; daughters, Brenda Dixon and husband, George and Shana Foster and husband, Shannon; brother, Charles Ray Crane and wife, Wanda; sister, Bertile Beasley; along with seven grandchildren, Natasha Folkes, Curtis Dixon, Johnathan Dixon, Adam Nations, Kasea Nations, Chase Crane and Brady Crane. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
