Letter: City’s military museum is a treasure

My wife and I recently had the honor of visiting your military museum. Having toured museums around the world, I was stunned at the quality of displays, their diversity, and the obvious pride your veterans and supporting citizenry take in this wonderful place.

It is by far the finest volunteer-maintained museum I’ve toured and stands on a par with most larger and well-funded operations. The quality of exhibits reminds me of the National World War II museum in New Orleans, just smaller.

Thank you so much for caring and preserving your warriors’ legacy of service. You have a treasure in this museum.
