Fire reports

The Brookhaven Fire Department responded to a smoke alarm at 10:35 p.m. Saturday on Smith Street. They also responded to a smoke alarm at 1:08 p.m. Saturday on Bryant Street. No injuries were reported for either case.

Highway Patrol report

Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop M responded to a single vehicle accident without injuries Saturday on I-55 northbound near mile marker 35.

KDMC Ambulance report

King’s Daughters Medical Center Ambulance Service reported 43 calls Friday-Sunday. Ten were transfers, with seven to Jackson, one to Hattiesburg and one to Hammond, with one in the city. There were 33 emergency calls; 27 medical, with 16 in the city and 11 in the county; three traumas, with one in the city and two in the county; two MVAs in the county; and one cardiac in the county.
