Funeral services for Lee Andrew “Andy” Birden, of Brookhaven, are Wednesday, June 5, 2019, at 1 p.m. at New Jerusalem Holiness Church in Brookhaven, Mississippi, with burial at Hillcrest Cemetery in Brookhaven. Bishop John Newman is officiating the service.

A viewing at the church will be held Wednesday, June 5, 2019, from 11 a.m. until time of service at the church.

Mr. Lee Andrew “Andy” Birden, 68, of Brookhaven, Mississippi, died May 30, 2019, at Baptist Hospital in Jackson, Mississippi.

Marshall Funeral Home in Brookhaven is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Birden was born Dec. 31, 1951, in San Francisco, California, to Joseph and Mildred Birden.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Birden, and one sister, Gwen Marie Williams.

Survivors include his wife, Debra Green Birden; his mother, Mildred Birden; three daughters, Melissa Birden, Michelle (Robert) Walker and Perry Green; two sons, Jason Green and Jermaine (Suzanne) Green; four sisters, Helen Arlene LaVance, Donna Jean Bell-Rose, Deidra Williams and Carolyn Williams Polk; three brothers, Joseph Birden Jr., Terry Williams and Nathan Williams; 11 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
