Police: Walmart worker tried to record girl in bathroom
(AP) — Police say a Walmart employee in Natchez has been charged with trying to take pictures or video of a 3-year-old girl in a store bathroom.
The Natchez Democrat reports authorities charged 20-year-old Austin Frazier on Thursday with photographing someone without permission where there is an expectation of privacy.
Police say the girl’s father reported Saturday that he spotted a man trying to record his daughter from an adjacent stall.
A police report says the father startled the suspect who then fled. The father provided a clothing description of the suspect to Walmart’s loss prevent officer, and was able to point him out on surveillance video.
Police say Frazier was a Walmart employee. Walmart officials were unavailable for comment.
It is unclear whether Frazier had an attorney who could comment.
