(AP) — A refrigerated equipment maker says production will continue as usual at its north Mississippi factory despite a fire that consumed a warehouse.

Standex Refrigerated Solutions group says the 16 workers at its Master-Bilt plant in New Albany will be reassigned or resume their regular work.

The predawn Wednesday fire burned a warehouse that included Thomas Wholesale Furniture and Master-Bilt’s newly-built refrigerator cabinets.

New Hampshire-based Standex says it has received offers of assistance and believes its employees can replace the burned inventory. If not, the company says its other factories around the country can help.

Master-Bilt has more than 300 employees in New Albany, making refrigerated cabinets for stores and restaurants. The company also has a factory in Hudson, Wisconsin.
