Copiah County reports

The Wesson Police Department reported eight tickets for Friday-Sunday; five for speeding, two for lack of insurance and one for disregard to a traffic device.

Highway Patrol report

Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop M responded to a single vehicle accident with injuries at 9:47 a.m. Saturday on I-55 northbound near mile-marker 33. They responded to an accident involving one vehicle with one fatality and one injury at 6:14 p.m. Saturday on I-55 southbound before exit 30. They also responded to an accident involving one vehicle without injuries at 2:25 p.m. Sunday on Hwy. 84 East westbound.

KDMC Ambulance report

King’s Daughters Medical Center Ambulance Service reported 48 calls Friday-Sunday. Seventeen were transfers, with 12 to Jackson, three in the city, one to Franklin County and one to McComb. There were 31 emergency calls; 23 medical, with 15 in the city and eight in the county; three traumas, with one in the city and two in the county; and five MVAs in the county.
