Thrills, fireworks and melons await at fair

The midway at Exchange Club Park is open today and Saturday from 6 to 10 p.m. The Lincoln County Master Gardeners’ Congo Watermelon Weigh-in is Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the front gate. All competitors receive a free armband good for unlimited rides. The fair closes for another year with a fireworks show Saturday at 10:15 p.m.
