The 6A Petal Panthers (3-0) went up 21-0 in the first quarter as they cruised past Brookhaven High 42-10 in Forrest County Friday night.

The Petal Panther lead was 28-3 at halftime as BHS got on the board via a Trace Brady field goal.

Petal wrapped up their scoring in the third quarter with a pair of touchdowns.

A Vincent Brown touchdown in the final quarter gave BHS their lone TD of the night.

Brookhaven (0-3) will look to get their first win of the season when they host McComb (3-0) on Friday at King Field.
