Rev. Joe Mark Dooley, 67, a resident of Wesson, Mississippi, passed away Oct. 30, 2019, at Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center in McComb, Mississippi. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 9, 2019, at Springhill Pentecostal Church in Wesson, with interment in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 until 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8, 2019, and 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, 2019, at Springhill Pentecostal Church. Ott and Lee Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Rev. Dooley was born March 31, 1952, in Brookhaven, Mississippi, to Rev. John Dooley and Eunice Dooley. He was married to Caroline, June 22, 1973. Rev. Dooley served as pastor of Springhill Pentecostal Church in Wesson for 23 years. Previously he pastored in Jayess, Mississippi, Sebastopol, Mississippi, and in Southside, Arkansas. He loved people and reaching for lost souls was always at the forefront of his mind. Rev. Dooley loved his family and spending time with them brought great joy to his life. He will be missed by his family, church family and all who loved and knew him.

Rev. Dooley was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. John Dooley and Eunice Batson Dooley; brothers, Don Dooley, Dewey Dooley and Randal Dooley.

Rev. Dooley is survived by his wife of 46 years, Caroline Elaine Anderson Dooley; sons, Jason Mark Dooley (Lesa) and Jeremy Wade Dooley (Maleah); daughter, Tiffany Lynn Dooley Nicholson (Jonathan) and adopted in love daughter, Tammy Jean Twiner (Rev. Ernest); grandchildren, Alyssa Dooley, Briana Dooley Pace (Brett), Brooklyn Nicholson, Gavin Dooley, Brayden Nicholson, Anna Kaitlyn Dooley and adopted in love granddaughter, Megan Mixon (Brent); mother-in-law, Guindolen Anderson; sister-in-law, Deloris Gibbs (Jackie) and brother-in-law, Bobby Anderson (Stephanie); many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
