Co-Lin students get rainy first day back in class

Students walk to class on a rainy Monday morning for the first day of the spring semester at Copiah-Lincoln Community College. The Lincoln County area received approximately one-quarter inch of rain during the day Monday. Forecasts from the National Weather Service in Jackson called for continued showers throughout the night and possible thunderstorms early today. Chance of rain throughout the week was expected to gradually drop from 40 percent today to 20 percent Friday, with chance of showers each day. A 50-60 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms is forecast for Friday night into Saturday across the county.
