Funeral services for Tyrethis “Jeanette” Beard Penrice, of Chicago, Illinois, are Saturday, Feb. 29, 2020, at 2 p.m. at Damascus M.B. Church, Brookhaven, Mississippi, with burial to follow in Ebenezer Church Cemetery, Brookhaven. Williams Mortuary in Brookhaven is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be Friday, Feb. 28, 2020, from 1 until 6 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Penrice, 73, died Sunday, Feb. 16, 2020, in Hammond, Indiana. She was born Jan. 3, 1947, in Brookhaven, to Willie Beard and Dessie Stapleton Beard.
