Samuel H. Brown, 67, of Grand Prairie, TX passed away March 10, 2020 at Kindred Hospital, Mansfield, TX.  He was born April 25, 1952 in Brookhaven, MS to the late Dr. Rev. Samuel and Helen Brown.  He was a graduate of Alexander High School, Copiah-Lincoln Community College and Jackson State University with a degree in Computer Science.

Mr. Brown enjoyed traveling, vacationing and seeing the world.  He enjoyed watching his favorite team (America’s team, The Dallas Cowboys), skiing, speaking and spending time with his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Rev. Samuel and Helen Brown; his daughter, Tara White; and his son-in-law, Al Jones.

Those left to cherish his memories are: his devoted wife, Michelle Brown of Grand Prairie, TX; daughter, Zandra (Randy) Belcher of Brookhaven, MS; sons, Brandon Neal of Arlington, TX and Mark (LaShon) Berry of Dallas, TX; sibling, Mazel Jones of Jackson, MS, Hazel (Robert) Kenny, Kenneth (Sari) Brown, and Ilka Montgomery all of Brookhaven, MS, and Mary (James) Scarbough of Gautier, MS; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Services for Mr. Brown will be as follows: Visitation at Williams Mortuary on Friday, March 20, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. and on Saturday, March 21, 2020 from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Mt. Wade M.B. Church.  Funeral time is 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2020 at Mt. Wade with burial at New Hope Church Cemetery.
