Brenda Faye Adams Perkins was born in Brookhaven, Mississippi, on September 16, 1955, and departed this life on April 27, 2020.  Williams Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Brenda was a God-fearing woman, a devoted mother, grandmother, a sister and friend. She retired as a caregiver. She leaves to cherish her memories: her daughters, Fredricka Perkins of Bogue, Chitto, MS, and Lorenda (Quinton) Reese of Brandon, MS; her sons, Frederick (Madonna) Perkins Jr. of Brookhaven, MS, and Emmanuel Perkins of Bogue Chitto, MS; six grandchildren, Zachary Perkins of Hattiesburg, MS, Zariah Matthews of Bogue Chitto, Nahkia Perkins of Monticello, MS, Nigel Reese of Kileen, TX, Castan and Cason Perkins of Brookhaven, MS; two sisters, Elnora Scott and Matilda Adams both of Chicago, IL; and two brothers, Sullivan May of Chicago, IL, and David (Deloris) Adams of Birmingham, AL.
