Graveside service for Mrs. Agnes Lucile Horton will be 11 a.m., Thursday, June 25, 2020, at Sylvarena Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Horton, 84, of Wesson, passed from this life June 21, 2020, at University of Mississippi Medical Center. She was born April 20, 1936, to William Watson and Letha Smith Watson. She was a member of Sylvarena Baptist Church in Wesson where she taught Sunday School and served the Lord faithfully. She was also a member of VFW and worked with Wounded Warriors. She was a hero to her family in all things, but she was honored with the Ageless Hero Award from the town of Wesson as well. She will be missed by her family and friends and forever remembered as a precious soul.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Francis Kennedy Horton, Jr., and granddaughter, Emily Elizabeth Presley Vining.

Those who remain to cherish her memory are her son, Francis K. Horton III and wife, Angie; daughters, Letha H. Presley; Alison Fryant and husband, David; brother, Willie Fred Watson; seven grandchildren, Kennedy Horton, Mattie Brady, Jorja Aulakh, Katy Buckner, Anna Hindman, Kelsey Cummins, and Konner Horton and 14 great grandchildren.
