The Brookhaven/Lincoln Rotary Club has selected their 2020-2021 Rotarian of the Year.
On July 9, David Campbell of Meadville was recognized recently as Rotarian of the Year by the Brookhaven/Lincoln County Rotary Club. Campbell is a charter member of the club and has served as treasurer since 2017. Campbell was presented a plaque by club president Angela Furr.
Rotarian of the Year is an honor chosen by the chapter’s executive board and is given to a member who has gone above and beyond to exemplify Rotary’s motto, which is “Service Above Self.”
“We’re pleased to recognize David as Rotarian of the Year,” Club President Angela Furr said. “He rarely misses a meeting and truly epitomizes what it means to be a Rotarian.”
Past district governor Mark Fields (left) recently visited the Brookhaven-Lincoln County Rotary Club to recognize the club as District 6820 Club of the Year for 2019-2020.
Receiving the award was past president Pat Nelson and current president Angela Furr. Nelson was also presented a plaque for his service as president.
In addition, District Governor Elect Mark Anderson was recognized by Fields for his outstanding service to the local club, and to the district. Congratulations to all!
