Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop M responded to a single-vehicle accident with injuries Wednesday at 7:43 am on Hwy. 550 East near Old Church Road. They responded to a two-vehicle accident with injuries Wednesday at 2:29 p.m. on Hwy. 84 eastbound at Doolittle Lane.

King’s Daughters Medical Center Ambulance Service reported 55 calls Tuesday-Thursday. Fourteen were transfers, with two in the county, one to McComb and 11 to Jackson. There were 41 emergency calls; 31 medical, with 20 in the city and 11 in the county; five traumas, with three in the city and two in the county; and five MVAs, with two in the city and three in the county.
