Gloria Rushing Owens

Gloria Rushing Owens, 85, of Seminole, Florida, passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2020.
She was born January 21, 1935, in Brookhaven, Mississippi, the daughter of Elem and Velma (Martin) Rushing.
Gloria was married to Gaddis H. Owens (deceased). She was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses associated
with the Pinebrook Congregation in Pinellas Park, Florida.
She is survived by a daughter, Angela (Mark) Woodall and two sons, Gary (Jackie) and Lee (Nancy) Owens.
Gloria is also survived by her siblings, James Ben “JB” (Martha) and Clovis (Jeannie) Rushing;
sisters Opal (Wayne) Currie and Sheila (Stan) Stewart; grandchildren, Jennifer (Roderick) Patrick,
Amanda (James) Barbour, Rebecca (Max) Lundgren, Jonathan and Abigail Owens; and three great-grandchildren, Jonah, Andrew and Luke Patrick.
Gloria was a devoted mother and friend. She received the most joy from helping and giving to others and from studying the Bible.
She worked hard to raise her family and enjoyed crocheting many beautiful gifts.
A virtual memorial service is to be held 2:00 p.m. central time on Saturday, November 21, 2020.
