Good Morning Brookhaven! December begins with frosty morning, rain returns Wednesday
Brookhaven residents awoke to frost on the ground and temperatures 16 degrees lower than Monday morning. This morning’s low barely dropped below 30 degrees. This afternoon will be sunny and cool with afternoon highs in the lower 50s.
Lows will fall back into the low 30s and upper 20s. Remember to bring inside any outdoor plants that are susceptible to the cold.
After a sunny start on Wednesday, another cold front will approach Wednesday afternoon, with showers developing in the evening. Showers and a possible storm will be in Thursday’s forecast, with conditions clearing out and sun returning by Friday afternoon. Temperatures will remain unseasonably cool all week, with afternoon highs only in the 50s, and overnight lows in the 30s.
