In observance of Christmas, Arrow Disposal Service will not run routes on Dec. 25 and will resume as normal on Saturday, Dec. 26.

Friday trash routes will be picked up on Saturday.

All area county and city offices will be closed Thursday, Dec. 24, and Friday, Dec. 25.

The Brookhaven Chamber of Commerce and Mississippi Highway Patrol will also be closed on Thursday and Friday.

All Brookhaven schools, Lincoln County schools, Brookhaven Academy, Mississippi School of the Arts, Copiah County schools, Franklin County schools, Lawrence County schools and Copiah-Lincoln Community College will be closed from Monday, Dec. 21 through Friday, Jan. 1.

Both branches of the U.S. Post Office will be closed Friday, Dec. 25. 

The Daily Leader will be closed on Friday, Dec. 25. The weekend newspaper will be published.
