Lincoln County will host a mask and hand sanitizer distribution this weekend.

On Monday, Lincoln County Emergency Management Director Clifford Galey spoke to the Board of Supervisors regarding a mask and hand sanitizer distribution scheduled for Jan. 9.

The distribution will be at the Brookhaven Sports Complex on Beltline Drive. The event will begin at 9 a.m. and end at 1 p.m. Participants must have a Lincoln County tag to receive supplies.

Each vehicle can only receive 20 masks and one bottle of hand sanitizer. The masks are washable.

While the event is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Galey said it will only last as long as the supplies do.

“We’re going to hand it out until we run out,” Galey said.
