Lawrence County libraries receive $4K from GP
Two libraries in Lawrence County — Monticello and New Hebron — received a grant of $4,000 from Georgia-Pacific Monticello recently.
The funds will be used for resource improvements and a summer reading program at the two Lincoln-Lawrence-Franklin Regional Library locations.
The summer reading program encourages students to be lifelong readers and helps bridge the education gap between school semesters.
