Showers will increase in coverage across the Delta and Hwy. 84 corridor today, according to the National Weather Service. Thunderstorms will also be possible in Brookhaven. High temperatures will range from the low 50s northwest to low 70s southeast.
Rain will continue across the area tonight with a rumble or two of thunder possible over southeast Mississippi. Freezing rain will also be possible over the upper Delta as colder air moves in. Low temperatures will range from the low 30s northwest to low 60s southeast.
Freezing rain will continue into Thursday morning across the upper Delta with widespread rain elsewhere. A few thunderstorms will also be possible over southeast Mississippi. High temperatures will range from the mid 30s northwest to low 70s southeast.
