Penny Elois Hall Morris was born on Dec. 27, 1962, in Brookhaven, MS, and passed away peacefully at her home on March 12, 2021, in West Monroe, LA.

A graveside memorial will be held at 11 a.m. on March 23, 2021, at Easthaven Cemetery on East Monticello Street in Brookhaven.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Syble Hall; brothers, Ronnie, Jerry and Jeff Hall; father-in-law, Robert “Bob” Morris; mother-in-law, Mary Annette Morris; sister-in-law, Susan Butler; and brother-in-law, Stephen Morris.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years, John “Johnny” Robert Morris; son, Josh Robert Morris and wife Geannie; daughter, Julie Annette Morris; grandchildren, Paizlee Annette Morris, Jackson Robert Morris and Henley Grace Morris; nieces, Angela Butler and Lauren Watts; great-niece, Skylar Little; mother-in-love, Elizabeth Ann Morris; cousin, Rita McElveen; and dear friends, Glenda Applewhite, Bruce Lambert and Benny and Debbie Giles Rushing.
