UPDATE: The highway has been cleared as of 3:30 p.m. according to MFD. 

A log truck overturned on N. A. Sandifer Highway in Monticello just before noon.

Monticello Fire Department encourages anyone who needs to travel along the highway between Hwy. 27 N and Old Hwy. 27 N to choose an alternate route or be prepared for delays as wrecker crews work to recover the truck.

No injuries were sustained in the wreck.
