The Town of Monticello’s parks and recreation program has received a $15,000 donation from Georgia-Pacific Monticello.

The funds will be used to purchase and install safety netting and fencing to help protect spectators and players from foul balls.

“The Town of Monticello is thrilled to have the continued support of Georgia-Pacific for our sports complex,” said Mayor Martha Watts. “Georgia-Pacific has been a constant supporter since their partnership in building the facility in 2004, and for that we are forever grateful.”
