Slight chance of severe storms this evening

Severe storms are possible this evening across the area, according to forecasts from the National Weather Service.
Afternoon storms will be focused mainly across the Mississippi Delta region, as well as northeast Louisiana and southeast Arkansas. Chances for isolated severe storms will spread farther southeast through the early evening.
The strongest storms could produced damaging wind gusts and hail up to quarter size. The chance, however, is slight — about 20% — with a 40% chance of showers over the night ad extending into Friday.
The high today is expected to be 73 degrees with 90% humidity, and a low of 68. Friday’s high is 76 and a low of 59.
A slight chance of thunderstorms and showers extends into Saturday and Saturday night, building to a 70% chance of showers Sunday.
High temperatures Saturday through Monday are expected to be in the low to mid-80s.
