The weather is warming up; the seasons are changing, which means its time for the farmer’s market to return to Brookhaven!
Starting June 4, 2021, vendors will be setting up to sell fresh produce in Railroad Park. Assortments of fresh fruits and vegetables, baked goods, dairy , and other fun treats will be available from 8 a.m. – Noon.
The Amtrak Train Depot will host the market the following Tuesday, June 8, from 2 p.m.-5 p.m.
Brookhaven’s Annual Dairy Day falls on June 25, 2021, from 8 a.m. – Noon. This event will be held at the Lincoln County Civic Center Stall Barn. The market will provide free, fresh chocolate milk, ice cream and grilled corn. Farm Bureau Insurance Company is grilling their infamous hamburgers. To add, live music, cows and a tractor show will be the entertainment for Dairy Day. All proceeds from the event will go to the farmer’s market, so they can continue providing fresh produce for our community.
The Farmers market will resume regular days and hours for as long as the produce season continues. If you are interested in being a vendor, contact Rebecca Bates at 601-635-3460.
