Ben W. ‘B. W.’ Rushing

B. W. Rushing, 88, of Brookhaven, passed away at Aston Court Retirement Community in McComb, MS.
He was born April 14, 1933, in the West Lincoln community, to Mr. Curtis Rushing and Mrs. Elmer Lee Smith Rushing.
After serving two years in the Army, B. W. returned to the West Lincoln community and began a career for 20-plus years with Noble Corporation and as a cattle farmer.
B. W. was an avid West Lincoln fan and supporter and enjoyed attending all the sporting events he could. If you knew him, you recognized him as West Lincoln’s greatest fan.
Preceding him in death were his parents; a brother, Hilton Rushing; a sister, Irene Brown and husband Hulon; a brother-in-law, Cecil Seay; and a nephew, Mike Seay.
He is survived by a sister, Mary Ellen Seay; a brother, Millard Rushing and wife Myra; his nieces and nephews, Curtis and Dee Dee Seay, Ronald and Cindy Rushing, Regina and Versey Hall, Tish and Buddy Russell, Becky and Doug Calcote, Penni and Jim Tilton, Perri Brown, Donna and Jimmie King, and Nick Rushing; and a host of family and friends.
