Hood Industries Silver Creek Lumber Facility recently welcomed a new plant manager.

Mike Baldwin will be responsible for the overall operations in Silver Creek. This includes managing a safe, efficient and profitable production environment while maintaining good employee relations, meeting customer needs, and operating within company policies.

Baldwin came to Hood with more than 30 years of wood products maintenance and operations experience with a variety of companies including Willamette Industries, Roseburg Forest Products, Weyerhaeuser and Interfor.

Since June of 2020, he has worked as an industry consultant assisting clients with reliability issues, preventative maintenance and process improvement.
