Lawrence County Schools present 2021-2022 awards

The Lawrence County School District recently recognized recipients of the 2021-2022 School Year awards.
“Thank you for your hard work and dedication throughout this school year. You are so appreciated!” said LCSD Family and Community Engagement Specialist Kelsey Wells Lambert.
Dr. Jeff Quin, director of the Lawrence County Technology and Career Center, was named Administrator of the Year.
Rod Paige Middle School teacher Laura Reynolds was named Teacher of the Year. Reynolds teaches seventh- and eighth-grade math.
Ashleigh Castilaw-Hynum, Monticello Elementary School kindergarten teacher, was named New Teacher of the Year.
Lawrence County High School Special Education Teacher Assistant Linda Turnage was named Support Staff of the Year.
Bus Driver of the Year went to Elsie Rodriguez.
Zach Polk was named Parent of the Year.
