Our Beloved mother, Sallie Shannon Stapleton has transitioned to be with the Lord!

She will forever be cherished and adored for all she sacrificed for us and others. Her life touched so many from near and far. As our mom, she loved us relentlessly with all her heart. Her gifts and talents made room for her to acquire the most a business owner could achieve … a LEGACY! In the early ’80s, Sallie stepped out on faith and founded “Sallie’s Hair Clinic” in Brookhaven, MS, where she provided and promoted professional healthy hair care services. Most of her clients described her as having “Growing Hands.” Sallie was always a cheerful giver! As God blessed her, she would always bless others. She and her business sponsored gospel groups and supported many ministries. She was a true pillar in surrounding communities.

Her eldest four children joined her and made it their ‘Family Business.’ After 40 years in the beauty industry, Sallie passed the baton to her children and expanded the business enterprise from Sallie’s Hair Clinic to the current Shannons’ Hair Creations. After her children retired her, Sallie continued teaching and inspiring others to become Master Stylists. She leaves a legacy that will live on through those who received her guidance. She will never be forgotten and greatly appreciated for the wisdom that she contributed to the Cosmetology Industry.
