Loyd Star alum Douglas James, a 2021 high school graduate, has been awarded the 2021-2022 Nelson Case and Melanie Wilson Case Memorial Scholarship. Provided by a lifetime endowment created by the Cases’ children in their parents’ memory, the scholarship is awarded annually through the Copiah-Lincoln Community College Foundation. James is a freshman at Co-Lin, studying to become a diesel mechanic. He is the son of Suzanne and Jeffrey James.
