Trey Thomas announces the engagement and upcoming wedding of his daughter, Anna Scott Thomas, of Wesson to William Kyle Griffith of Monticello. 

The bride-to-be is also the daughter of the late Rhonda Smith Thomas.

She is the granddaughter of Sally and Steve McKee; the late Buster Thomas of Brookhaven; Linda Sue Smith and the late John B. Smith of Wesson.

Miss Thomas attended Loyd Star Attendance Center and Copiah-Lincoln Community College. 

The prospective groom is the son of Ben and Debbye Thames and Darren and Jeanie Griffith. He is the grandson of the late Guy and Berneal Boutwell and Gary and Linda Griffith of Monticello.

Mr. Griffith attended Lawrence County High School.

The couple will exchange vows on Saturday, April 23, 2022, at 6:30 p.m. at Sweetwater United Methodist Church, with a reception to follow. 

Family and friends are invited to attend the ceremony and reception.
