Severe weather is in the forecast again for Lincoln County and surrounding areas.

Tuesday afternoon into Tuesday night, risks for severe storms exist in the area, with the majority of Lincoln County under a “slight risk” forecast. Damaging winds with gusts up to 60 mph are possible, along with quarter-sized hail and possible tornados.

In Lawrence County and further east, a marginal risk exists, with some possible severe weather.

An enhanced risk of severe weather exists Wednesday afternoon and evening – with damaging winds up to 70 mph, large hail up to golf ball size and possible tornados.
