The 5^th Annual Smokin’ Out Child Abuse event is today at Magnolia Blues BBQ Company in downtown Brookhaven. From 3 p.m. until closing, all of the restaurant’s proceeds will go to benefit the Southwest Mississippi Children’s Advocacy Center — a place for child victims of abuse to tell their stories in a safe, non-threatening, child-friendly environment.
