Brookhaven’s Cooper graduates with honors and double degrees from MC

Michaela Cooper, of Brookhaven, has graduated Mississippi College with a double degree — English Writing and Paralegal Studies. Cooper graduated summa cum laude with a 4.0 grade point average. She also received the Susan H. Lassiter English Award for the 2021-2022 year, and was named Outstanding Senior in Pre-Law by the Department of History and Political Science. Cooper also received the Phi Alpha Theta Carson Hughes Award, presented to a student who has demonstrated excellence in history classes.
She will begin law school in the MC School of Law in mid-June.
