Severe weather is expected to move into the Lincoln County area around noon today.

While forecasted Thursday to be a slight risk, that has been elevated by the National Weather Service to “enhanced.” Damaging winds up to 70 mph and quarter-size hail should be expected, and a tornado cannot be ruled out.

The risk remains for the area until 3-4 p.m.
