BROOKHAVEN — Kindergarten Parents of incoming students in the Brookhaven School District have an opportunity to get free school supplies. These supplies are available for all kindergarten students, the School District said in a release.

Parents wishing to obtain a free backpack and school supplies for their child must complete registration before July 29, 2022. Registration began online on July 5, 2022. Parents can also come in person to register at Lipsey Middle School July 26 to July 27, 2022 from 10a.m. to 6p.m. and July 28, 2022 from 8a.m. to 12p.m.. 

Brookhaven School District will then issue a ticket from a staff member upon completion of registration. Those who register and obtain a ticket can redeem it at the school supply pickup from 8a.m. to 12p.m. July 29 at Mamie Martin Elementary. A child will receive all of their school supplies and a backpack. 

To register your child for kindergarten visit the Brookhaven School District website at www.brookhavenschools.org. Registration is not considered complete until all paperwork is reviewed and approved by staff.
