2nd Amendment Sales Tax Holiday is this weekend

This weekend is the Second Amendment Sales Tax Holiday in Mississippi.
The state gives an annual tax break during the holiday on all purchases of firearms, ammunition and certain hunting supplies. The Mississippi Department of Revenue outlines which items are eligible — and non-eligible — for tax savings.
Unlike July’s tax-free holiday for back-to-school items and clothing, this holiday does not have a price limit on items or purchases. Any eligible item on the state’s list is tax-free.
The holiday began Friday at 12:01 a.m. and ends Sunday at midnight.
Some of the tax-free items are bullets and shotgun shells, muzzle-loader gunpowder, arrows, bow fishing accessories, firearm parts, safety equipment and scopes for bows, cases designed specifically for firearms and archery equipment.
Some of the items not included are reloading supplies, BB and paintball guns, hats and gloves, animal feed, binoculars, boats, cameras, calls, knives and tree stands.
