CLINTON – Fall Sports in Mississippi are in full swing, and the Mississippi High School Athletic Association has partnered with local owners and operators throughout the state to help showcase schools and student-athletes with schools having and opportunity to win a $500 prize.
The #McDonaldsSpotlight campaign will give schools, students, coaches, parents, and fans a chance to promote their school through “spotlight moments” at athletic events this Fall. These moments may be a great play on the field/court, a strong showing of school spirit, an act of good sportsmanship, or anything deemed a “spotlight moment.” Participants in the campaign are encouraged to be creative; the opportunities are endless.
To participate, simply snap a picture at your school’s athletic event and post to social media using the hashtag #McDonaldsSpotlight. Each month, one entry will be selected and the school that entry promotes will receive a $500 prize. The campaign will run in September, October, and November. Entries should contain only appropriate content, and any with inappropriate content will not be considered in the campaign.
