Donald Ray Harrigill and Hilda Barreno Harrigill announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Shelley Marion Harrigill of Brookhaven, to Chad Willis Barron of Bogue Chitto. Barron is the son of the late Maryland Delane Barron Sr., and Jeanette Zerangue Barron.

The prospective bride is a 1997 Honor Graduate of Brookhaven High School, a 2001 Graduate of Millsaps College with a double major in Spanish and Psychology, and a December 2003 Graduate of the University of Mississippi School of Law. Harrigill first became licensed to practice law in April 2004 and is an attorney in solo practice in Brookhaven, Mississippi.

The prospective groom is a 1984 Honor Graduate of Bogue Chitto High School, a 1987 Graduate of Copiah-Lincoln Community College, and a 1992 Graduate of Mississippi State University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Barron is employed with the Georgia-Pacific Paper Mill in Monticello where he is the Project Engineering Leader.

The couple will exchange their vows on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at Easthaven Baptist Church in Brookhaven, where the groom is a member, with a reception to follow at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, where the bride is a member.
