BROOKHAVEN — A mother and her daughter celebrated the ribbon cutting on a new business Thursday afternoon. Love Care Family Health opens its doors for business Friday with owners Marion S. Tillman and Princess L. Fields at the helm.
The business is located at 234 West Court Street. It took about two months for them to renovate the office space, Tillman said. She previously worked in healthcare for 16 years and brings those expertise to the new venture.
“I love caring for the elderly and I have a passion for it,” she said. “This business is mainly to help people with jobs and help care for people who need care. I started in health care by caring for my Grandmother after she had a stroke.”
Love Care Family Health will offer clients bathing, dressing, babysitting, preparing light meals and running errands for clients. People can contact the business by calling 601-265-2018 or visiting their website lovecarefamilyhealth.com. Office hours are from 9a.m. to 5p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays.
“We would love to have your business,” Tillman said.
