A crash on Hwy. 33 has resulted in the death of a Fayette man.

At approximately 9:30 a.m. Wednesday morning, Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to a crash on Hwy. 33 N in Franklin County, according to Cpl. Craig James.

A 2020 Dodge Challenger driven by Lenelle Snyder, 35, was traveling north on the highway when it left the roadway and collided with a tree.

Snyder received fatal injuries from the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Snyder had been reported missing on Sept. 13, 2022, by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation by MHP.
