BROOKHAVEN — Kizzi’s Closet II is coming soon to Brookhaven. The retail store Kizzi’s Closet I in McComb is expanding by adding a new location at 140 West Congress Street across the street from Leonard Printing Company. 

Kizzi’s Closet offers clothing and jewelry and will have more room to carry products in its Brookhaven location. Owner Kizzy Young said they acquired the entire building and are working on renovations. They started work in September of this year and hope to be open in January of 2023. 

She said Brookhaven was the next city over and it made sense to expand the company there. Her dad was also born and raised in Brookhaven. 

“I’m bringing it back home in a way,” Young said. “Our business has grown through prayer and supplication. It is all to God. It is nothing we did, it is all God.” 

Kizzi’s Closet’s page on Facebook shows products the company sells and information about their store location in McComb. Their business hours are from 9am. to 6pm. Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday.

She said renovations have moved swiftly on the building and they were working to finish windows and doors Wednesday. Kizzi’s Closet in Brookhaven is getting closer to opening. 

“It is very exciting. I am ready for the new chapter we are about to begin,” Young said. “I’m looking forward to it.”
