At approximately 7:50 a.m. Wednesday, Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to a crash on Hwy. 51 S in Lincoln County. Brookhaven Fire Department and King’s Daughters Medical Center Ambulance Service also responded.

Kathryn Barron, of Bogue Chitto, was driving a 2018 Nissan Versa north on Hwy. 51 when the car traveled off the roadway. The car collided with a tree and overturned.

Barron, 20, was wearing a seatbelt and was not injured in the crash, according to MHP Cpl. Craig James.
